Coach Crossings – Interview with Devon

We are pleased to bring you our latest Coach Crossings interview with one of our fabulous coaches, Devon D’Andrea.

Devon currently resides in Hamilton Ontario with her husband where she has established a coaching practice dedicated to helping others achieve balance and wellness in their lives.

Devon ‘s extensive experience as a high level Project Manager in the construction sector led to her decision to dedicate her time to helping others find balance in their lives. As a long time practicing Reiki Master, she understands how energy affects the body and mind. Devon says her path to coaching began when she sought out a coach herself, feeling she needed help dealing with the pressures of life. She found confidence within herself through coaching and was inspired to offer others the same kind of support she received.

Before deciding on Canada Coach Academy for her ICF Certification, Devon researched the industry carefully. A significant factor in her decision to join Canada Coach Academy was the all inclusive ICF accredited program – which she found many schools were not offering.

Through coach certification, Devon recognizes people are already whole and resourceful. She has learned to set aside judgement and find comfort in silence. Being a coach has given Devon the skills and competencies needed to connect to people on a profound level.

Devon’s mission as a coach is ultimately to support women, specifically by building resilience, in gaining confidence and creating opportunities for greater fulfillment. In fact she hopes her footprint on the world will be to create a ripple effect – to help women build confidence, acceptance and compassion so that they in turn can help others.

If she had one opportunity to send the world a message it would be to ask one simple, yet powerful question: What if random acts of kindness weren’t random?
