Coach Crossings – Interview with Tracey Foster

Coach Crossings – Interview with Tracey

Tracey Foster, Certified CCA Professional Coach, is an experienced Director of HR with a heart of gold, boundless positivity and charm.

Tracey resides in Ottawa, Ontario. She began her career working at a crisis line before moving to an international development organization that connects communities across the globe with volunteers in Canada.

There are several events throughout Tracey’s life that have contributed to the decision to become a coach. During her time as a manager, while working through the human resources lens, she saw an opportunity for the coach approach. Watch her interview for all the awesome details!

Tracey chose Canada Coach Academy (CCA) to complete her certification, alongside 6 of her co-workers after checking out the website and connecting with our program director Nathalie Blais. Tracy felt CCA was the right choice for her team as CCA programs offer a wealth of experience, flexibility and customization that met CUSO’s needs.

Recognizing she has a tendency to manage as a mentor, Tracey saw how a coaching conversation
would allow her to unlock her clients potential, guiding them to the solutions and ideas they want to pursue.

One of the most profound ways Tracey’s life have been impacted since coach certification is apparent in her ability to practice active listening skills on a higher level and ask powerful questions.

Tracey’s message for the world is “It’s never too late to be what you might have been,” by George Elliot.

Thank you for all you do Tracey. The world is lucky to have you.
