Graduates

How to turn why into what, and resistance into possibilities.

How to listen for emotion, meaning, and what is behind the words.

How to invite space, silence, and time to think.

How to hold the mirror so people see themselves clearly.

That is the skill of professional coaching. You will practice it live, with feedback, until it moves from something you do to something you are.

Questions

What people ask before they call

Is this program ICF-approved?
Yes. Coach Academy is an approved partner of the International Coaching Federation. This program is accredited at ICF Levels 1 and 2, and qualifies for 125 coach education hours.
How is this different from your other programs?
This is our flagship, and the most rigorous program we teach: 125 coach education hours, both ICF accreditation levels in one program, 11 mentoring hours, 40 logged practice hours, case studies, peer coaching submissions, and a capstone project, plus our signature Circle Method™ and a full year of community membership included. If you've been comparing programs and want the complete education, this is the one.
What does it mean that this program covers both Levels 1 and 2?
The ICF accredits coach education in levels. Level 1 education is the requirement for the ACC credential, and Level 2 education is the requirement for the PCC. This program delivers 125 hours accredited at both levels, so one program gives you the education requirement for both credentials.
What is the ICF, and why does it matter?
The International Coaching Federation is the world's largest coaching body and the gold standard for coach credentials. Its credentials (ACC, PCC, MCC) are recognized across industries and borders, and organizations increasingly ask for them when they hire coaches.
Can I do this while working full-time?
Yes. Most of our students do. You'll attend 2 hours of live class each week, with about 3 to 4 hours of coursework and about 2 hours of coaching practice you can fit around your schedule. The pace is steady on purpose: 28 modules over 7 months.
I've coached for years without a credential. Will this be too basic?
You'll be in good company. Many students arrive with experience and no formal fundamentals. The program gives structure to your instinct, then stretches it through Level 2 competencies, observed sessions, and mentoring: students of the Academy speak of unlearning, more than learning.
What about the ICF credential after the program?
You'll graduate with 125 coach education hours, 11 hours of mentor coaching, and your practice hours documented. That is the education pathway toward both the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentials, and we'll walk you through the application.
What does the community membership include?
12 months of membership means 10+ curated live events every month, led by our team and guest speakers: ICF skills labs, case study clinics, live coaching demos, business strategy sessions, book clubs, roundtable discussions, keynotes, and more. You'll get unlimited peer coaching practice hours inside this community of global practitioners.
What is the difference between a coach and a therapist?
Therapy assesses, diagnoses and prescribes, and therapists are certified and accredited by geographic regions. Coaches are thinking partners, trained to evoke awareness, challenge perspective, listen for what is not said, and clarify goals. Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Qualified coaches understand the difference and are trained to recognize the line between therapy and coaching.
Will my organization sponsor my tuition?
Many of our students are sponsored by an employer, a non-profit board, or a professional development fund. An Admissions Coach can give you what you need to make the case: the program outline, the hours, the credential, and an invoice for your organization.
